What personal information do we collect from you?

You do not have to enter personal information to browse the information pages on the site. We may store internet data from time to time to monitor site usage and to improve our service but will not use this data to identify or contact you.

If you make a search of the register on-line, we will ask you for some personal data for identification and audit purposes and will store your email address. Where you use a credit or debit card for payment on line, each time we will use a trusted third party to collect and process this data. Where you are a business user we will ask you to identify your account and password.

Why do we collect and store your information

We only request information from website users that is necessary to enable us to provide you with the service you have purchased. We do not pass any personal information acquired from your search onto anyone else unless legally obliged to do so.

The data which comprises the registers is public data obtained from the courts of the jurisdictions we offer and is held under licence or contract. The data in the registers is available to search on-line and is also passed to other parties periodically for use with regards to credit activities and these include – credit reference agencies,  companies offering financial services, companies offering financial advice and their agents.

Making Contact with you

We will contact on-line customers using the email address provided where we are required to do so in respect of the service you have purchased or in response to an enquiry you have made. We may contact you to monitor and improve the services we offer.

We regularly monitor our security through any web access and internally any use by our staff. Our staff are aware of our security and privacy policies and have secure accounts and passwords that provide only the access they need. Our premises have appropriate physical security to protect against the misuse of data acquired during the provision of our services.

Details of your credit or debit cards are not held by or are not available to Registry Trust Limited. We use a secure and approved third party provider to validate and process all payments on our behalf. Processing is protected up to the AIS Standards recommended by VISA using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption software and firewalls. We only have access to lists of transactions for audit and any questions we may receive from you in respect of payment.

Registry Trust Limited cannot guarantee the security of any information you input onto this website or send to us and will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused as a result of your use of this website.
